Paintings developed through layers, material and the emotional interpretation of lived experience is a central part of her artistic practice.
Working primarily with oil on canvas and also aquarelle on paper her paintings explore inner landscapes, figures, and ornamental elements as spaces of reflection rather than literal representation.
Each work develops slowly, shaped by layers, memory, and the passage of time.
"Inspiration" A symbolic portrayal of inner perception and creative flow. Birds appear as messengers of thought, while the tower forms a bridge between earth and sky. Inspiration speaks of receptivity, clarity, and the moment when ideas arrive.
"Water" - the element of flow and motion as well as the life giving and memory recording element
"Antennas" A surreal portrayal of the human connection to nature, where a figure merges with a tree, surrounded by symbols of transformation and life. ------------------------------------------------- "I am the tree, born of the earth, grown toward the sky with antennas in space. The earth is my garment, my shelter— from it the motion of life arose, giving birth to joy and companionship."
"The River" A landscape shaped by memory and continuity. The river flows through different places and times, linking past and present experiences. The River reflects contemplation, movement, and the enduring presence of water as a witness to life.
"Chat"The work is done — now leisure calls, let us speak of love and blossom’s thrills. And when the women’s chatter falls along the shore in murmured spills — of distant isles, of you and me, of spiders, stone, and ancient walls, even the lizards listen, free. Like waves, the words will bear us home, to where you sit beside the tide, with sisters talking, soft in tone, of house and land and fools of pride, and far-off lands where hearts may roam, untouched by need, untouched by sorrow’s side.
"The Diary" A contemplative image of personal development over time. Reading becomes a metaphor for reflection, recording moments, thoughts, and change. Diary presents growth as a quiet, ongoing process shaped by experience.
"Colorful Landscape" - sometimes the land looks like shapes in different colors playing with the light from the sky
"Fire" - the element of willpower and temper
"Memory" A symbolic reflection on how memory is formed and carried. Branches grow from the mind like living pathways, while books rest beneath as stored knowledge and experience. Memory explores the relationship between remembering, learning, and the organic way thoughts take root and evolve over time.
"Giraffe Trees" A quiet observation of coexistence. Giraffes move among the trees, their bodies echoing branches and trunks, living with and within the forest. The image reflects balance, adaptation, and the natural harmony between animal and environment.
"Doha Blues" - "Far-off waves sway longing to and from. From shadowed depths her gaze stands tall, wrapped in flowing cloth. Even the cloak shields her from the wandering winds, for the sea is a tear in a mournful game, stitched into a garment of great worth. Thus the princess of the frozen land crossed the sea in flight, and in the burning air was nearly turned to ash."
"Rosee" - joyful gifting a rose to Mrs. Rose
"Lime" A surreal seascape under the moonlight, featuring waves filled with abstract treasures and a mystical coastal scene, rendered in bold blues and whites.
"Wealth" A surreal depiction of wealth, represented by a figure balancing a bountiful basket of fruits, surrounded by symbols of nature and abundance.
