Berta Jarosch (neé Strubreiter) (1901 - 1978)
was born 1901 in Ebreichsdorf and died 1978 in Mödling She was an academic painter and teacher at the Sacré Coeur secondary school in Vienna.
In her later years, her artistic practice receded into the background as family responsibilities and the management of the family farm and property became central to her life.
Her character was marked by discipline, energy, and a strong sense of duty. The experiences of the two World Wars left a lasting imprint on her life and her quiet artistic legacy.
